Swedish Massage:

Relaxation and Therapeutic
Swedish massage uses long, flowing strokes to massage. The basic strokes are effleurage (light touch), petrissage (kneading), tapotement (rhythmic tapping), friction (compression), and vibration. Swedish massage has shown to be helpful in reducing pain, joint stiffness, and improving overall function and well being of the body.

Deep Tissue: 

Excellent for active individuals
The purpose of this slow but strong massage is to release tension in deep layers of the muscle.  A variety of slow, concentrated strokes, trigger point work and cross-fibre frictions assist in breaking down adhesions, (knots in the muscles), flushing out lactic acid and relieving pain.   The perfect massage for individuals requiring focus on specific muscle groups.

Sports Massage: 

For the athlete
Sports massage is designed to help athletes prepare their bodies for optimal performance, recover after a big event, or function well during training. But you don't have to be in the Olympics to benefit from sports massage. Sports massage is also good for people with injuries, chronic pain or restricted range of motion.  Sports massage helps to break down adhesions (knots in the muscles) and increase range of motion.

Hot Stone: 

Add Hot Stones to your massage to melt away your stress.
Hot sea stones are placed on key points of the body along with oil, providing deep penetration and a sense of comfort and warmth. Combined with traditional massage, the direct heat relaxes muscles, allowing manipulation of a greater intensity than with massage alone.
